Portland, Ore. (April 24, 2007) - Harry’s Fresh Foods (Harry’s), a leading provider of convenient and freshly prepared foods to the foodservice industry and consumers, was awarded the 2006 Top Vendor of the Year in the perishable foods category from Food Services of America (FSA)-Portland. This is the fourth year in a row the company has been recognized by FSA, having been named Top Vendor of the Year in the same category in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Harry’s is the only vendor to win four years consecutively.
The Top Refrigerated Vendor award is based on outstanding sales growth and continued support of FSA’s marketing program, specifically “Dining out in the Northwest,” which promotes local restaurateurs and the manufacturers, distributors and farmers who supply them.
The winner of the annual award is reviewed and selected by FSA’s sales, merchandising and marketing departments.
